ONBOARDING PROCESS

The first step is to set up the client within our fulfilment and leading e-commerce management system. This consists of product descriptions, weight and dimensions, carton sizes, SKU codes, EAN codes and any other barcodes present on the products. We can also set up any bundles that you require, as well as map alternate codes if products have different codes on different platforms.

1. Initial set-up

ONBOARDING PROCESS

This is the initial set up with a customer’s API, such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify and WooCommerce. Once the set-up is complete, we run a number of test orders through the system to check the order flow into management system.

We will set up your initial user on our system, with permission preferences, scheduled reports and notifications. Each user can have a different range of preferences, privileges and notification settings.

3. User set-up

Once the onboarding process is complete, we will arrange a web talk-through of our system to show you a step by step guide on how the e-commerce management system works. We will also provide you with ‘How to’ documents to help while you get familiar with the software, as well as a list of all contacts within The Storage Place.

4. Support

ONBOARDING PROCESS

We will set up a review and hand over after one month, as well as a process review after 3 months so that we can ensure you are happy with our fulfilment services and if there are any areas that you require further help or information.

Goods In

Our highly skilled team will receive delivery of your stock direct from your manufacturer or supplier. Our Customs Bonded Warehouse also enables us to store goods imported from outside of the EU. Once we receive your stock, items are checked and inventoried before they are stored in our secure warehouse.

Pick and pack

Pick & pack is the most important step in the fulfilment process as this has the biggest impact on customer experience. Using our fully API integrated system and our experienced team, items are picked accurately and packed carefully ready for dispatch.

Warehousing

Your stock is checked to ensure accurate and efficient fulfilment. Using our cloud-based order fulfilment software, you can monitor your stocks levels in real time and run reports, with 24/7 access.

Shipping

Once orders are picked and packed, the next step is efficient shipping. We know on-time delivery is imperative in providing excellent customer service, so we ensure orders are dispatched on time and tracking information is uploaded to the system where they can be viewed in real-time. We work alongside all major couriers including Royal Mail, DHL, Parcelforce and DX.
